Evergreen Building Maintenance Inc. has first-class janitorial staff and we intend on upholding our superior standards. Our management team has a combined industry experience of over 100 years. This has helped us take ordinary employees and transform them into team leaders.

Gurmit Takhar, Founder
After immigrating from India in 1972, Gurmit tried his hand at a number of jobs. In 1988, he decided that he was going to commit his life to providing the very best quality janitorial services. Having gone through his own experiences, it brings Gurmit great pride to see his son, Ranjit, go on to carry out his vision. Gurmit is now semi-retired and finds fulfillment from providing consulting with his 35+ years of commercial cleaning experience as it has evolved over time.
Ranjit Takhar, CEO and President
Ranjit was first exposed to the industry in grade 3, cleaning buildings with his parents after school. He is now equipped with over 20 years of experience in Building Maintenance services. Ranjit is honoured and grateful for the work Evergreen has done to become British Columbia's most effective, efficient and sustainable cleaning company. He is excited and confident about the company's growth over the coming decades. Ranjit's passion lies in providing the best value to our clients and giving back to our own employees and the community.
Navjot Takhar, Vancouver Area Manager
With a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, Nav understands the importance of keeping your facility safe and reducing those staff sick days! Nav’s keen eye for attention to detail complements her role in Quality Control very well. She works closely with clients to ensure that their expectations are being exceeded, and front line staff to maintain the highest quality standards. Having over 10 years of industry experience, she is passionate about the field of commercial cleaning. Nav’s everyday goal is to leave everyone with a smile at their workplace!
Sean Gillis, Business Development Manager
With 25+ years experience working with several Fortune 200 companies, Sean brings a wealth of sales experience and management to the Evergreen team. Sean specializes in modelling and executing strategies that align with our customers changing needs and creating win/win relationships with our valued customers. When Sean is away from the office he enjoys skiing, golfing, and spending time with his two daughters.
Thomas and Beate Seitz - Penticton Supervisors
Thomas and Beate owned and operated their own janitorial company in the Okanagan for over 15 years. They specialize in high security clients such as RCMP Detachments, Municipalities and Provincial Government Offices. As of 2016, they joined Evergreen Commercial Cleaning in the role of Supervisors, looking after the maintenance of buildings such as Airports, City Halls and Casinos.
Rodel Pascual - Vernon Supervisor
Rodel has been working as a field supervisor for Evergreen for the past more than a year. He started as a supervisor which handles our cleaning staff at the Casino in Vernon. Even being new in this field of work he had given his best effort to establish a good service to meet the client's expectations. Through his knowledge together with his 4 years experience of handling and dealing with team members he always looks and maintains the good result of the team's performance. As the company grows, he dedicates his time to exhibit the quality of service the company can offer. He also believes that “Every member of the team plays a vital role to achieve the success of everyone who shares a common goal."
Vandna Sharma - Cranbrook Supervisor
I applied the knowledge and skills that I learnt from my Business Management program throughout my 7 years journey from a janitor to be an Operational Manager. I understand that as a manager, I am working as a bridge in between our company and the clients so maintaining their relationship through client satisfaction with our job performance is my job priority. Taking initiative and Doing a job up to our own satisfaction is the key that my clients are always satisfied with the job me and my staff performs. I like to study so that is why I am still in college and there are no plans to graduate soon.
Gengy De Torres - Operations Supervisor
Gengy De Torres brings over 20 years of extensive experience in the cleaning and hospitality industry. Throughout his career, he has honed his skills in supervising teams, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and delivering exceptional service. His background includes managing various aspects of operations, from maintaining pristine environments to leading and developing staff, all while consistently meeting and exceeding industry expectations.
Hal Green - Controller
Hal Green is a CPA with 25 years experience in various industries including manufacturing, real estate development, and property management. Cash flow management, budgeting, and implementing growth strategies are a few of his skills. He is excited for the opportunity to work with Evergreen and help take it to the next level. "There is such a positive, wholesome energy at Evergreen, it makes me proud to be part of this growing team!" In his downtime Hal enjoys golfing, playing hockey, and coaching his son and daughter in soccer and baseball.

Tanja and her team at Potentia Human Resources bring skilled HR leadership and tailored support to Evergreen, working collaboratively to elevate our people and drive organizational excellence. With a strong emphasis on fostering employee engagement, Potentia is dedicated to advancing our People and Culture Strategy, helping us build a thriving and committed workforce.
Trudy - Senior Bookkeeper
With a background in Business Administration specializing in accounting, Trudy has spent 30 years working with business owners. Her experience covers a broad range from setting up and maintaining the books for many companies, helping owners understand their financial statements, researching and advising on improvements to streamline administrative processes to serving as financial controller. With a passion for helping others and cultivating positive relationships, Trudy is excited to be part of the Evergreen team!
